Terry - I know that Mercedes changed the intervals over time with the new cars, but when asked if that applied to our original "sealed for life" recommendation, I thought their stance was that it did not apply to our cars even though the transmissions were identical. It's made sense all along that our transmissions need to be serviced, but I think Mercedes did not want to admit that their initial recommendation was incorrect.
