You are completely within your rights, and I fully expect that they will agree to dealing with the sale of your house and your moving expenses however you require.

Here's where maybe I'm sticking my nose in your business, but just take it for what it's worth.

In twelve years of school through high school, my Dad moved us seemingly ALL the time! I went to 12 schools in those 12 years. When I moved where I am now, my oldest was halfway through the first grade and I pledged never to move them while they were in school and I honored that pledge.

Just make SURE you know what it's involved with moving the kids.
