Video looked like fun. No sound on this computer, so if you were all having a horrible time and screaming for help, it went unnoticed.

I'd really like to get to that side of the continent for some adventures. I've spent plenty of time on foot in western PA and NY, but always had to leave the 4X4 at home (it won't fit into the overhead compartment). As per Enterpise's policy, we NEVER took any of the rented SUV's off of the paved road. At all. I'm pretty sure. Sometimes it was hard to tell if there was pavement under all the mud and snow, but I'm pretty sure there was. Probably.

Out west here, mud and water are fairly rare. Even when it does get muddy, they close the trails. But, hey, we get the desert!
