In terms of your daughter, I am sorry to say but you now have to treat her as a hostile individual until such time as she takes serious action on her problems. And if she is still functioning at the level you describe, this may be an agonizingly long time away.
My father was an alcoholic, and I have dealt with people like this in other settings, and their ability to manipulate, lie and deceive other people who are operating at a normal state of mind is really frightening.
I am going through some difficult stuff right now, reaping the results of previous mistakes and general stupidity, but I can't touch what you are experiencing. Godspeed to you.

After what happened yesterday, my wife is finally on board with what I am trying to do. The local police have been notified and will be on alert to what she is doing. What the wife and I can't understand, is that we raised her to be a good person and not to steal and cheat people.
