I spent $4500 for the car on eBay. Yeah, I'm a dope. Sight unseen and the like. Of course this is just the next stage of issue management. I have already had the engine replaced with a used engine that has a new head, resealed power steering pump, new a/c fan clutch, transmission pan gasket/service, new coil, motor mounts, transmission cooler line, and other misc. parts. So right now I have about 12K in it. It runs great but I want to get this climate control issue resolved. I expect to replace the exhaust system (all rusted out) within the next year. I know of a couple of good independent shops where I live.
