Having an issue with the oil level indicator on the dash. About 2 years ago the oil level indicator was overactive and saying the oil level was low when it was not according to the dip stick level. Adding oil to the full level on the dipstick would keep the light off. Replace the oil level sensor 2 years ago and yesterday the light went on cruising down the freeway at 80 mph? I slowed down to 70 in some traffic and the light went out? I had just checked the oil level and it was in-between the low and high levels? Not sure what to check now? Can the new level sensor go bad within 2 years? Could have the mechanic installed the sensor incorrectly? The flexible service system says I still have 1600 miles until next oil change. If anyone knows something about this system please let me know what to check. Thanks John
