My girlfriends house is rather warm, 86F, and the thermostat is set to 78. So clearly the ac unit isnt cooling.

I turned it off and am letting it sit now. I have a bucket below the filter housing to catch any water. I wish I had a wet vac so I could vacuum the coils and the water.

any other advice? This is what we would have to do sometimes at my parents house and it usually worked after letting it sit for an hour or so. I think a call to an HVAC company in the morning will be in order, possibly.
