Is it indeed a "fact" that " Republicans spend more money with reckless abandon, than the Democrats ever could."? I would ask you how you can even post such a statement when the current administration has spent more wildly than all previous administrations combined. Healthcare alone is now estimated to cost more that $2 Trillion for the first decade. Remember that they promised to keep it under $1 Trillion--so already it is a fact that they lied about that.

You have mentioned that GW spent way too much. However, you refuse to look at other past Republican administrations and compare with the Democrats of the same time period. It's not strictly GW that is the culprit here.
The current administration suffers on two levels...........spending too much and having insufficient revenue. You'd need to analyze which part of that equation dominates. I certainly won't defend this administration. The fool just doesn't understand what he's doing long term. However, with him as the exception, the Dems have contributed less to the total deficit over the past 50 years than the Repos. The legacy of this individual will not be a good one because of his disregard of basic finances.
I agree that they lied about the cost of their free health care to get it rammed through the Congress and, at the current cost, I'm afraid I cannot support it anymore.

Using history as a guide, and excepting the current occupant, the Republicans have spent more.
If you want to use the current occupant as your leverage to claim the high ground with regard to spending, have at it............but, it's weak.
