Flying in the face of your theory, however, is me. I'm probably in as good health and physical condition as anyone in my class, if not more than anyone in my class, and I haven't been a doctor OR a general.

I guess I'm with you Larry. I'm easily recognizable but no doctor or general am I. Hated science in school and was 2 & thru in the service.
At my 40th, one of the nicest looking women in the room comes up to me and says hello. I look blankly at her, not recognizing her and wait for her to introduce herself. (She wasn't wearing an ID tag). So, she finally says" Don't you remember me? I'm Dianne XXX. I was your date at your Senior Prom."
Her husband was a classmate of mine; she was a year behind. Saw them at the 45th. Guy looked fantastic, was a NYC Detective.
