Just curious since I don't know much about them, is the engine somewhere near the helm seat (far enough forward so it doesn't want to squat)? In a box or flush deck?
Docking a single screw isn't too bad, when I was growing up that's what we had. It's really not unlike docking a single outboard except your using your rudder and the prop wash rather than turning the entire OB (duh ). |
Its a flush deck, engine is probably damn near mid ships center. I assume its also probably a nice boat to drift since it won't turn stern too like a lot of the big outboard boats to.
Not a lot of clearance between the deck and the valve cover, engine just fits.
I'm used to twin scew inboards, a single is going to take some practice.
