85 TDT wagon rear brake caliper interchange

I seem to remember that my California spec TDT wagon had two types of rear calipers- Bendix? and ATE . Any issues with putting ATE on if in fact it has Bendix ? They seem to be unobtainium...... same hoses, rotors ?

I recall that one had wire type hardware retainers and the ATE 's had the spring clips..?
