This is a pretty much unobtainable item for the 88-92 300ce coupes. I mean unobtainable as in there is none for sale anywhere in the world that I know of at this time.
I also have a working set of Thule ski racks that have the euro rack adapters that work with this roof rack. I used it last year to carry two pairs of skis and poles with no problems.
This rack is made for Mercedes benz by Oris and threads into the roof into the nutserts in the factory roofline. Both the rack and the Thule ski attachment come with a key that locks them up for any potential theft. This is a very slick system that I have used to carry a christmas tree, a aluminum front door and of course skis on. The only reason for sale is that I am buying a new car which has fwd and a hatchback so I can use it for my ski vehicle.
It took me a year to find this. $250 for rack and another $40 for the Thule if you buy it altogether. I have $350 invested in this and selling at a loss. Local pickup ok.
