I researched him a bit and it seems that he used to do a little surprisingly good singing too even into the 1980s - naturally to be found on youtube now. Oddly, my neighbours told me that they went to one of his performances last year 9pm to midnight, but were still there laughing at 2am - once started up, he doesn't stop apparently. Value for money tickets there, I reckon!
