I have a 97 S500 that I'm parting. the pump is gone, but the harness is still there. Infact the pump was missing from the car when I bought it, so that shouldn't be a factor. I had a new key cut, as I didn't have the remote key, and the key I had would crank, but not start. I got a valet key made and it worked fine for what I drove the car.
