Oil Level sensor in oil pan

I changed the oil level sensor in the oil pan in my 95 E 320 and wanted to share a few pictures.

This is a relative easy job and my my recommendation is to do it if possible during an oil change, otherwise you will loose a few quarts of oil.

Disconnect battery as always. Located oil level sensor on side of oil pan next to the nut for the oil change in the E 320 model. Take the two bolts out holding sensor, replaced with new sensor bolt down, connect wire, and is done.

Like I said if you are not planning to empty the oil pan then have a container underneath because you will loose some oil
