Thanks much! I probably never would have found that part number without help. I agree that the "cup" is probably what I'm referring to as the socket. It's the part that the caliper mounting sliding bolt thingy (a shaft sliding in the cup with a nut on the end with a threaded hole for the caliper bolt) goes in. No one reading this will have a clue unless they have done this job recently....

I agree that used would be nice, but time, distance, and lack of good yards in the area make this one case where I'll probably go ahead and order it. Unless it takes weeks to get one! My car is down waiting for this.
