I'm really happy with an $80 JVC box that doesn't have a CD player I don't need. iTunes as a user interface is nothing to be proud of but AT&T's flakiness remains the worst aspect of having an iPhone. Well, recreating the playlist went more quickly than I expected and only one song is missing; as in there was one song on the iPhone that isn't in my library. I didn't think to read the iPhone as an external drive before giving up and sync'ing. It wasn't an iTunes purchase and we don't need to get into where I got it
