In all reality I am not proud of Republicans saying dumb things. I am also not proud of Republicans for thinking dumb things and even less proud of Republicans that introduce into law dumb things.
I can remember when I disagreed with Republicans and Democrats over their policies; not because they were fools that thought they could run my life.
I can still remember a conversation I had with a Republican Senator who bragged to me that he
would make me live by his rules, that he would make
everyone live by his rules.
I told him good luck with that. I think this was in 1985, so I am glad to see the Republicans are still trying to live up to his high standards.
