Misread the other post. My rear seat is stuck forward.

In other words, the 2/3 seat will go up and down. The seat backs will fold up and down.

But the forward/back adjustment doesn't release the seats, and the seats are stuck forward. I can rotate the lever on the side of the seat CCW, which should release the seat to shift backward, but it does not release.

I believe this type of mechanism was changed in 2000 (but please correct me if I'm wrong), so I doubt fixes for post-99 MLs are applicable.
