I will have a look at the engine to find the connectors you mentioned when I get home tonight. Are they all accessible, and is this something I can do myself, or do I need to bring it in? I am reasonably handy with mechanical and electrical stuff.

I assume you mean replace them all regardless of condition when you said "shot gunning the parts"?
