That looks like the door on your coupe, the sedan is quite a bit different. The tricky part on the sedan is getting the wooden part off that the seat switch mounts to. You need to slide a thin piece of steel, like a butter knife, down the rear edge of the wood part to release 2 pivoting levers to swing the levers down. Then the wood trim will pop out from the back. There is a screw under the wood trim. On the sedans, there are a couple plastic closing plugs with a screw under each one, these need to be removed. They are located near the hinge for the storage compartment lid.
The sedan I don't believe has the plastic "hook" you mentioned, this is unique to the coupe door panel.
