Thanks guys for your replies!

I got a call from the SA saying the work is completed and can pick it up in the morning. He also said he "got it down to $532..."!

I took it in to have the AC serviced since it seems to obviously have a slow leak and loses coolant over a couple months. Also I had the tires/wheels balanced and the tranny leak sought out. Said that two wheels were 'bent'? I'm not sure I would have ever thought it had two bent wheels! Seems I'd have noticed something as bad as that. Anyway, said they 'straightened' them and it should be a smoother ride.

The tech seems to think the tyranny leak could be coming from the modulator valve? So I gave them the go ahead to pull it and install a new seal/gasket and I'm to watch it over the next several days...fingers crossed. I'll report back with the results as I get them.
