I agree...two of the three were that type. Both had small wheels and self propelled. The third was a 6.5 HP B&R push mulcher. After that one died, I turned my back on Crapsman forever.
Our current one is a K-Mart cheapo...which works well enough for us. Prior to that, it was an electric, but the switch failed, and I didn't have time to screw with it, so I sent the wife to get a cheapo.
A few weeks ago we had the huge community garage sales going on in Tarentum, Brackenridge and Natrona Heights, where I picked up a newer used reel mower. The guy was wanting $30, but when I told the guy selling it that it was going to be used as an attitude adjuster for the kids, he dropped the price to $5. I oiled it up and it works great...and the kids are afraid to screw up now. I had them use it last week to do the whole yard...they know they don't want to screw up now.
