The criticism of Obama's use of the teleprompter was that it was excessive, and obvious--like the time he asked them to scroll it faster because he lost his place. It was his over-use, and over-reliance that allowed the criticism, and gave rise to the thought that, maybe, he was not able to speak, intelligently, without one. Its the sort of thing that Dems would have criticized Dan Quayle for doing a generation earlier.
It is also not a fundamental reason for opposing the President. There are several, far more significant matters upon which he is legitimately criticized.
Hogwash. You actually believe those emails don't you??

Have you watched any of Obama's debates? No teleprompter.
Scrolling speed?? seriously you have an issue with how fast he wants his script scrolled?? you got a problem with the color of his underwear too??

The entire teleprompter business is a perfect example of the rabid and senseless attacks made on Obama.
Criticize him all day for his actual faults, but this kind of crap is from people who don't have the brains necessary to grasp the real issues. You are too intelligent to fall into this category, and it cheapens your other more valid criticisms.

Herbert Hoover used a teleprompter in 1952 to address the RNC.
