I meant to say electric MIRROR! Not electric window....

Hi there,

Just bought a w123, 230e and I have a few questions hopefully someone can help me with....

- The electric passenger mirror does not work. Any pointers to how to fix this? The fuses all look OK. No sound of motor.

- The central locking system does not work. Any good guide somewhere to try and sort this out?

- Something is not quite right with the suspension. There is a knocking sound which sounds like metal knocking into the chassis when going over bumps. I can't see anything wrong, but was wondering if some out of view 'part' that should be between either springs or shocks could be missing or worn out...?

- Looking at Eurocarparts website, there are two oil filters, with different inner diameter that comes up when I type in my registration plate. How do I know which one is the right one? Do I have to measure it or is the information written somewhere? I have the 102.980 engine.
