The most common affected area on an SLC is in the rear wheel arches. Rocker boxes can be vulnerable as well, but in general they didn't have a horrible problem with corrosion. If there is bubbling in the rear wheel arches, it can usually be repaired, although cutting out the affected metal and replacing it is always the best way to go. Hope this helps!
