Just because it is in a private home does not mean you need to support it. Support the persons right to do what they will, invite who they will, but I for one, will not support their decision to send out an invite to a class reunion indicating that whites only are to be admitted.

Racism is a form of prejudice, plain and simple. Same as sexism or discrimination of any group. I am not fond of prejudice in any form although we all indulge in it in some way, shape or form. I have yet to meet anyone without any prejudice whatsoever. I don't find one form better than the other. So your discrimination of different races isn't any better or worse than his discrimination based on sex or mine based on clothes or hers based on eye color. It is all bad and it isn't going away. You might win the battle but so far, if history is any judge, not the war.
I don't like his action any more than you do. However, on principle, I feel I have to support his right to make a fool and/or unpopular person of himself.
