I think MO did a pretty good job of it, but I was surprised at how the commentators really went for it.
Still...

I am a Republican ( nominally, but I also voted for Gore and Kerry so...) who voted for McCain, primarily because BO was completely inexperienced , and McCain wasn't. If I had it to do over again (2008 election) I would do the same thing ( he lived another 4 years

).
I am still voting for experience this time, and Romney hasn't got it. What experience he has, is all bad, IMO. He knows how to create jobs, sure, but not in the US. Can't we collectively find someone who can run this asylum? BO at least has 4 years under his belt. I don't agree with much of what he did, but at least we aren't cratering. I never thought he would be able to do much anyway, so I haven't been as disappointed as the Koolaid drinkers.
I hear the whining about how slow the recovery has been- sure, but we never had the crisis we had in 2008 before as in the wayback machine. We have no manufacturing base now...what do we expect? We keep sending dollars overseas for Chinese crap and foreign oil and if nobody over there buys anything from us what kind of fantasy economy can we have passing fewer dollars around amongst ourselves?
The rancor and bitterness in the Congress has got to stop. There were Democrats and Republican in the good old days and things got done. We are headed for another financial showdown (read sequestration) and it ain't gonna be pretty. Pathetic.
Time to liquidate your holdings and stuff them in the mattress...oh... that's not going to be good for the markets...
