Thanks guys.....

I'm dropping the whole lot as its easier to get at those 24mm nut/bolt on the arm mounts, and the 'dart-bolts' in the subframe-bushes have been out two years ago so should be easy to shift now.....

The arm nut/bolts are pretty tight and the inner one pretty close to the flex-disc etc and little room to move a spanner/socket....
--If I left subframe up--no doubt I would end up doing summit daft and breaking something--Probably myself--I'm good at that!

Hope to get hold of a low-mileage diff from a 79 300D sedan before the job, as mine has a slight whine, which its always had. Might as well do that at the same time, and re-boot the half-shaft CV Joints.

Donor subrame with diff came from a 200 5 spd gasser, and ratio is 3.68--No good for my Diesel!

The donor of subframe and arms, was a 1984 200 sedan gasser. The recipient a 1985 diesel estate/wagon--so hopefully, any age related differences don't apply!
