I agree totally with your first paragraph, but this could EASILY play into B.O.'s hands as I've repeatedly explained in this thread. This is EXACTLY what he and the media have been looking for.

One of the things that will be VERY interesting to watch, will be how long it takes for B.O. and his team to formulate a response. They will beat this to death before saying anything. They will have thought it through from every angle that could possibly have to do with the election. Their response will be tailored to position them for the election and NOT created for the betterment of America in this situation. As I've said repeatedly on this forum, politicians NUMBER ONE priority is getting re-elected. The good of the country and the people in it are secondary and expendable.

Don't get me wrong, the response will probably be in a matter of hours, but it will be after a VERY comprehensive meeting.
