I have an idea what you're referring to when you say Hella Light Control Box...
BUT I'd sure as Hell make positive that any ON/OFF control functions by the
Mercedes Headlight Switch of the Hella Switch are run through a RELAY,First.
(AKA the MB Switch only "Signals" the RELAY to control the Actual LOAD
carrying current of the Hella Apparatus.)
Fuse everything as near the Power source as possible.
Step #2 (After removing Battery Cable from Battery) Remove the Driver's side under-dash panel.
