I lived in Tucson from 91-97. I miss it. I lived in the SW of Tucson and never saw a scorpion other than in the zoo. Saw one snake out my front door and he was a tinny fella. I liked the weather. Nights were not that bad. The summer could be kind of harsh but I went up to Mt Lemon quite often to escape. The sun sets were beautiful. Not a long drive from LA or SAN. I would move back in a heart beat were it not for work and family.

Not sure if they still do it but we went to the Salt River quite often during the summer and just floated down it on inner tubes. Great way to spend a hot afternoon.

Cities are what you make of them. No place is perfect. DUr
