For all the grief I hear about them, I don't think they are all that bad. Aside from internal seal leakage, the case itself is bullet proof. The electronics aren't terribly complicated and the hydraulics (aside from the t-case) are at or above par.

While they are great in inclement weather conditions, most people don't realize how awesome they are on dry pavement. Try to push one into understeer and you'd be amazed at how much grip it has.
