Speaking for myself, I'd prefer to be introduced to someone older directly rather than going through some Internet service. And fortunately, I know people that I can ask if they know any single ladies who are 5-10 years older and open-minded, if I can get up the courage to do so.

I'm not really looking for a cougar-cub relationship (implying mostly for casual sex), as much as a long-term relationship with an older woman whose company I can enjoy. Basically, I want to be treated like a 40-45 year old, since I essentially am one in all but chronological age.

This isn't a question of finance -- I already have everything I need, and am better off than most Americans. I also have no interest in having kids biologically, so that's not an issue.
