After 4 years and 2 carb rebuilds the car hasn't gone further then the end of my street . I need to get the car running for my Mother, her 2000 GMC Safari has 200,000k on it now not to mention the 17- MPG. I was thinking of doing an engine swap from a recently crashed out 97 C220 4Cyl. The car runs great and is still drive able but the passenger side was hit right at the fender and the door seam i think the frame is bent but thats another huge issue.

Here's the deal I just don't know where to start and what direction to go in I have a flexible budget im expecting the cost to get it up and running will be over $1,500

I need to find what parts I need and where to order them .. I was considering buying a megasquirt II on ebay MegaSquirt II PCB v3 SMT Programmable EFI Engine Management System Kit Complete | eBay
but I still need to convert the 2 carbs into TBIs. Another idea would be to fabricate an adapter that would go in place of the 2 crabs to give 1 inlet I don't own an machine shop but have a welder... and my mom is a good welder, If anyone can make the parts let me know $$
