Strangely, the OMB has deemed the notices unnecessary and inconsistent with the intent of the WARN act. Not only that, the administration promised to reimburse these companies for any lawsuits and damages caused by ignoring the WARN act 60-day notice requirement.
Lockheed-Martin has now reversed it's original plan to notify its employees, effectively keeping them in the dark, and setting the stage for huge lawsuits that taxpayers are being obligated to pay for. What the????

Thanks for bringing this subject up again Ray!
This is ABSOLUTELY consistent with something I have REPEATEDLY written on this forum. Politicians care ONLY about getting re-elected. If some hard working folks in a defense factory get stepped on in the process, they don't CARE! This goes DOUBLE for B.O. who has REPEATEDLY shown his willingness to use Chicago style politics at the drop of a hat, regardless of who it harms.
In this particular case, it says as much about the MSM as it does about B.O. The MSM is PERFECTLY content with sweeping this under the rug, to get their guy another term. In FACT, there is clearly more dishonesty on the part of the MSM in this case, than there is on the part of B.O. Everyone EXPECTS B.O. to lie, but the same folks have a small amount of trust left for the MSM. Makes it even more sinister.
