1) Dodge 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck with the Cummins B-series diesel and either a 5sp or a 6sp. Regular cab, 4x4. Any year will do
2) VW Jetta TDi 5sp (sadly, in addition to getting almost 50mpg, the new ones are considerably faster than my 300D, although I don't know how well one would drive on an extended freeway run).
3) Freightliner FL-50 crew-cab with an 8.3l Cummins and manual trans; ultimate family/RV hauler
4) 1959 Cadillac station wagon, completely restored, turned into a stock-looking sleeper with a 426 Hemi (like I said, I don't like GM engines
). This is the only g@$$er that I'm readily willing to own.
5) The '85 300D I have now
6) The '84 F-250 I have now
I'm gonna need one heckuva garage!! Fortunately my dad has a 160 acre plot in souther Colorado...
