Reagan led the nation. No president since Eisenhower, including Obama, has done a better job of leadership. His seduction of the American people forced Congress to follow his lead. I concur although not sadly like Tom. Both parties have provided leaders in the past. I don't see the same type of compromising efforts though in Washington today. It's unfornuate that both parties can't just agree to disagree on some issues and work on the other stuff together.

Don't both parties agree we need to get rid of the debt? And the stuff about military projects that even the military wants to cancel, but "Congress" keeps pouring money into it because it's a pork project for their district(s).
