Hi. I'm new to this site as well as new to Mercedes. I bought
a 2001 ML320 a couple of years ago - overall its been great.

I just did my first oil change as the 50k free service honeymoon
has ended (I've got 57k on it). And what a huge mess it does
make! A small amount of planning on MB's part would have been
nice to avoid dumping the oil all over the front end linkages, etc.

The oil on the rubber bushings is good to know - I'll have to
figure out a cleaner way to do this in the future.

I've been trying to find a service manual for this car and it seems
MB hasn't published it for the masses yet. Is this their normal
way to treat customers?

Now that I've changed the oil, how does one reset the FSS
system to start keeping count again??
