Do yourself a HUGE HUGE HUGE favor and hop in an airplane, fly to Florida, and drive the car home. Driving time is about 45 hours or so; the conditions are still mild across the country, and you can do it in about 4-5 days or less. It will probably cost less than shipping, take way less time than shipping, it and you will never regret having done so.
I really would love to do that, but I really don't have the time for that. I love road trips, and the car I am looking at would be wild to drive back across the country. But, at the same time, I am worried about potential damage to the Mars Red paint....
