Do yourself a HUGE HUGE HUGE favor and hop in an airplane, fly to Florida, and drive the car home. Driving time is about 45 hours or so; the conditions are still mild across the country, and you can do it in about 4-5 days or less. It will probably cost less than shipping, take way less time than shipping, it and you will never regret having done so.

Cross country road trips are fun. I've done Carson City to Atlanta and back more than once. Most recently was in a 240D. I did it in January 2010 and managed to not run into any snow.
