To use this dipstick correctly you need to get ATF temperature to 80deg C. So you need to measure temperature. I used infrared thermometer pointed at the pan.
Also, if you torgue converter has a drain plug you need a new seal washer for it. And you need something to turn engine to get this plug in the position. In my engine (M113) 17 mm hex. I found that the lug bolt for my winter set is perfect for that. It has hex long enough to get it into the engine and use 17 mm open wrench on the other side.
