I had to replace the water pump on my 90 300ce today, I think mine is about the same as yours. I have a very good friend that ownes a independant MBZ shop. The new pump cost $279.00 and he charged me $300.00 labor. It's a hard job, and I trust him.

Before I got this car, he told me a water pump was around $600.00, Valve Job $1000.00 etc.

I think you should get it done for around $650.00.

I wonder how much it would cost for a Cad Northstar V8?

My bet, it would be a lot more $$$$$
