Do they need to come out together e.g. discharge the AC and disconnect the lines. Or is there a way to remove just the radiator by itself. Can't see how without removing the front valance and bumper for access??? Anyone been there and done that?

Ooohh.. a 2.6. I've never changed a radiator in one, but I came close to buying one some years ago. I remember looking down in the front of that engine. I have a 300E which is already tight with that same basic engine in there. I can't imagine tackling this job.

I wish I could offer some suggestions, but I guess all I can do is give you some encouragement. No matter how tough a job looks as you go into it, if you perservere, you will conquer it.

All this said, I can't imagine that you would need to recover the refrigerant and remove the condensor. SURELY you can remove enough stuff to move it forward out of the way. Recovering and recharging should be avoided at all cost IMHO.

Best of luck with it.
