Based upon the excellent advice of Cullennewsom, I downloaded Chromium to see how it would perform. Note that I started it up and copied each tab from Chrome to Chromium.

Not at all a M/S devotee, I run nearly as much linux as I do M/S. By your logic we should all still be using kerosene lamps and typewriters. I doubt your profession (or numerous others) would exist as it does were it not for constant change and innovation, so why is this not allowed in IT?
