I noticed the dust boots on the rear "spring struts" are torn. I was going to just replace the rubber buffers on top of the shocks but now I am going to just replace the $L$ shocks.

From what I have read my 1986 560SEL has the first version 116 320 45 13.
Will the second version also fit or do I have to buy first version?
