i feel for all of those who experienced any losses as a result of the superstorm SANDY.

I have also suffered a loss. My 1993 300ce cabriolet was waiting to be picked up after a nostart condition and finally an OVP replacemnt. I just spent $2,500 replacing hydraulic cylinders.

The shop took on over three feet of water, with numerous cars including mine under water. I am waiting for the insurance company to report and respond.
I am toying with the option of replacing the car with
*1993 300ce cab
* 1994-5 e320 cab
* 2004-5 clk 320 cab
* Toyota Solara convertible
Should I look to avoid the expnsive probability of failing cylinders/ harness issues or go for a newer model car with less chance of the problems listed above
I am looking for advise and opinions.
