The part is likely wrong, and I would suggest calling Phil @ Peach on his return today (see the announcement) or the MB classic center for the proper part. I would have had the same issue on my 4.5 had I not found a junked 450SE with the same lines that mine needed that were literally brand new (Still had all the original brass shine and no dirt on them).
