I had one seized OM617 (5 cylinder diesel) engine and transmission that I am parting out. I did find debris in the oil pan. I plan on cleaning the contents for further diagnosis information.

Darn it! Just remembered, I did not take out the glow plugs. Well, it's not something I reuse, so I guess it was off my radar.
