Looking for some W116 experts. squiggledog would know for sure.

A few weeks ago I came across a Euro W116 with the flat Euro headlights and Euro redish amber fender lights, not the DOT approved U.S variety.

The headlights have the vacuum adjusters. I have everything removed except for the vacuum adjuster switch on the dash board. how does this switch come out w/o breaking it? Does it just push out from the rear? I know there is some sort of secret little gizmo that holds it in.
